Oh! Michelle how scary it must be for you and your family, but welcome to this wonderful site that offers so much to people in need like you and me. I'm sorry i cant offer any advise on your type of cancer, I have never heard of it, but be assured someone else would have. At the moment it seems pretty quiet on this site, but no doubt it will will pick up again soon. There are some really beautiful ladies here that know a lot about cancer and others that offer heaps of support.
To ask you to wait 6 months to see if it has spread or grown just seems cruel, i know if that was me i would be trying to convince them to do it at 3 monthly intervals. Your GP may be-able to help with writing a letter about how stressed and depressed (maybe) you are . It is just wrong to expect someone to wait ! !
Remember Michelle it is your body and your life that may be affected by this cancer so dont be afraid to start demanding the attention you deserve weather they are busy or not. You are the only one who can demand whats right for you. It's to late once it has grown or spread.
We have had this discussion on this site before about standing up for our rights and demanding the right treatment. There are so many ladies that feel the same way. Michelle let us know how you get on but in the mean time try and keep busy and please see your GP and have a talk with him/her. Good luck and take care,
Cheers Jo xx
