Hi all. Just had a bone scan today and booked for ct tomorrow. I should get my results in a few days. Im getting pretty anxious while im waiting.

Waiting is definitely the worst bit-keep busy!! Cancer cells don't follow rules and if they did then we might be free of it.Cancer cells can sometimes get into the blood stream depending on the pathology.It is totally routine to have body and bone scans when you've had a positive lymph node or a recurrence like me.My cancer came back in the same breast and same spot 7 years later after a lumpectomy,full node clearance(all nodes clear) and radiation.But you know what,despite being 3cms in size ,it was happy to stay put and didn't travel anywhere else in my body after 7 years. So you never know and I guess that's how we have to live after a bc diagnosis. But the odds are in your favour so hold onto that thought till you get your results, Sending hugs, Tonya xx
