Hi all. Just had a bone scan today and booked for ct tomorrow. I should get my results in a few days. Im getting pretty anxious while im waiting.

I hear you, the waiting is the pits. It is the hardest part of this whole bumpy road we have found ourselves on.
I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy where two nodes had cancer. I then had a total axillary clearance of the rest of my nodes on the one side (another 17) which were clear. I had a full body scan and a full CT scan. I believe it is routine. You will probably have heart gait scan at some stage as well which is also routine.
My understanding is to check everything else is all clear and then they will have comparisons if they wish to recheck later down the track. I had heart gait scans a couple of times throughout my chemo to check all was good as well.
If you have to have chemo there will be blood tests after your first chemo and then before every chemo session to check your white cell count etc.
