Scans post adjuvant chemo
Happy Friday afternoon everyone! As I am having adjuvant chemo as opposed to neoadjuvant, how does one tell if the chemo has been effective? Do they do tumour markers/full body scans at the end ...
Hi @youngdogmum I had my surgery in August, I finished chemo early January and radiation 4 weeks ago. I’m booked in for my first mammogram and ultrasound in May. It seems like a long time to wait. Having TN breast cancer I keep wondering about the rest of my body. No mention of body scans.
