Sassy's heading south!

Hello! My name is Deb and I'm looking forward to meeting you all next week and learning more about the online world of breast cancer support!

After being diagnosed and treated in 2008 at the age of 33, I discovered there wasn't a support group for young women affected by breast cancer on the Gold Coast. So I established Sassy Survivors, and we've been going strong ever since. We've been a part of BCNA's online network since 2012, but I must admit we haven't utilised its full potential!  Keeping the group connected has become more of a challenge recently, as members resume their busy lives after treatment, and I think developing our online community would be a great solution.
