Saline or Silicone?

Hi Joe, I hope you don't mind me asking, but is there a reason why your expansions were only 20mls a time and why it has taken so long, from insertion to replacement. I only start my expansions this Friday, but my surgeon is doing it in 100ml stages each week and then talking of an exchange around this coming Christmas or January. Had 200mls put in during the operation for the insertion of the tissue expanders. I can understand why you are over it all by now. I feel like that too, but it is only 6 weeks since my second mastectomy and insertion of tissue expanders. I had my little set back while on holidays in Perth, leading to more surgery, and a setbak of 3 weeks. I think I'm being impatient. I'll take a leaf out of your book, and I'll stop whinging.
