Well written and very well expressed. The hair thing is horrific and some people deal with it better than others. I have just had chemo number 4 (had 3 of FEC and will have 3 of Taxotere, then 7 weeks of radiotherapy). The tiny little prickles seem to be falling out now from my head as well. I am actually looking forward to feeling a very smooth baby bum head instead of all the lil prickles. It feels so awful when it first starts coming out and is quite painful to sleep on. My eyebrows and eyelashes have thinned but still hanging in there. Like you say once they go there is no hiding it. I wear a wig when I go out which helps me get away with no hair but when there is no eyebrows etc.it will be so much harder.
It is all part of the course to get you over this horrible disease and we just have to tell ourselves it is to make us better to be here for our family, ourselves and all our loved ones and watch then all grown.
