I'm really sorry to hear about your day, it sounds awful, but it also sounds like you coped with it all and at least now it is done, which has to be a good thing. I had a port put in after my last treatment and it made today so much easier. No messing around finding a vein, they can pump it through faster (straight into the jugular) and after a small prick at the beginning, I didn't feel a thing. You will almost certainly find a PICC will make it much easier for you. Have a good rest tonight, and hopefully the Dex won't keep you awake all night.
