No 2 chemo went not too well... they had to do 4 tries before the canulla would stay, as my veins decided to collapse and no blood came. So after 4 tries success, but when the blood test came back they weren't happy, so another needle in the arm to take another blood test. So my arm now is totally bruised and was very sore during chemo, that they had to slow down the flow of chemo, as my arm and vein was terribly sore. So I totally was sorry for myself that day.
Now, I just have bad indigestion, so taking antacid tablets and Somac. so, apart from that, not too bad after chemo.
Yes, I have the Biotene "family", and using them. But still my mouth is yucky and dry. I tried the prunes as well, but so over the taste of them now..... so not taking them anymore. My oncologist has said to try Dulcolax, which is helping me toilet wise. Otherwise she has also suggested taking Metamucil, which I take every day.
Good to hear that your No 9 chemo went well. Hope all the others are a breeze for you as well.
