Yes it is unexpectantly awful when you loose your hair. Although we know it is going to happen it does not make actually loosing the hair any easier. For me loosing my hair was one of the worst experiences even worse than pain of treatment. I too am not a vain person but I think the loss of hair is a stark reminder that we are in a fight with cancer. Don't hide away get your wig and some loely hats and scarfs and face the word. It seems that you have a very supportive husband treasure him. Enjoy your hat shopping.
