Round 2 surgery

Hi to all

Heading back in for another surgery first up Monday. It's just in 2 weeks since the lumpectomy and the sentinel node biopsy attempt. I say attempt as due to blue dye not working they only got a clump of tissue, no nodes, so back in again for the bigger op now.

Still recovering from last surgery, have the Sedona in 2 areas of my breast, so I'm on antibiotics. Praying have no temp or asthma. Avoiding all sick people so I'm healthy and strong to do it again. 

It feels like it's very fast, but I kind of figure the sooner the better. Might as well feel lousy and recover from both at once instead of dragging it out, lol. Already have an appointment lined up with chemo doctor for the 15 th July to have a discussion they said. The results from the nodes will be back and they will know which way to go.

I hope everyone is traveling well this week.

    Hi Kazza, sometimes you need to stop, take your superwoman cape off, and take your time to recover and mend. I hope that your second round of surgery goes well for you and that you can get on with whatever happens next. Warm wishes, Tracey B ??

    Hi Kazza,

    All the best with surgery #2.  Stay resting up and take it easy.  Thinking of you.  I know what it's like going back at 2 weekly intervals.  (My anaethetist joked 'are you back again?'.) Nothing like an anaethestist with a sense of humour!
