Hi,
Like you,I got breast cancer a second time last year.My first bout was in 2003 and had a lumpectomy, full node clearance, followed by radiation.Well 7 years on it came back in the same breast, same spot(unlucky 8%)so had to have a mastectomy followed by chemo.last year.I am now on Tamoxifen and getting on with life.I think chemo was the hardest treatment of all-physically and emotionally.Losing your hair has a huge impact on your life and is very underestimated. It takes so long for it to grow back so that even though you are over chemo you still look like a cancer patient for ages. In some ways getting cancer again was quite a shock. You think you've beaten it and moved on but then you have to start all over again. This is a great site to vent your feelings and to chat with nice ladies in the same boat so blog away!
