Hi Julia, yes I had my ovaries out 3 weeks ago. My oncologist told me that having them out cut the chances of re-occurence by about %50 . As I was pre menopause they wanted to strip me of as much oestrogen as possible. I am now also on Arimidex for 5 years. Cheers Hilary
