Results

The pathology results of the operation are the tumour in the left breast was 9cm. the edges around it were clear of cancer. its a lobular cancer grade three (that's the most agressive type grade). at this stage no sign of cancer in the right breast yay!

out of the 24 lymph nodes they took out 20 had cancer in them. the type of tumor responds to estrogen therapy which is good but does not respond to herceptin which is also good news. Should know after wednesday when chemo starts.... so mostly good news with what im understanding of these results.
