Results

Finished rounds of tests including CT scan, mamogram, blood tests, couple of biopsies on what turned out to be simple cysts so I was petrified of going to see my surgeon today for results.  After having all this done I was convinced I had cancer from head to toe.  CT Scan clear for everything except existing bc in right breast.  Nodes look normal - this was great news also.  Some suspicious looking calcification in left breast which will be looked at during surgery on Monday. Keeping positive, feeling confident, surrounded by people who love me today.  All Good.Suziexx

    Yes, that's me taken at Port Macquarie 2 years ago.  Yes, I was a child bride at 17.   I have 3 grandchildren (18, 16 and 12).  The oldest just finishing her trials for her HSC.  The photo taken at Port Macquarie was just a particularly good one.  Thank you.  suziexx

    My daughter had abnormal cells on her cervix when she was just 19 and everything went well.  She is 40 now and no problems.  It's just a bad time of year for these things to be going on.  Everyone seems to have some sort of bug or other.  I will post again after my surgery, but I take my comrades thoughts and love with me.  love Suziexx

    HI Sorelle, thank you so much for your kind thoughts.  I am lonely at the moment keeping inside and away from loved ones as I don't want to catch but before Monday.  I couldn't stand having to put this off!  Husband sick and has chest infection as well so he has to keep isolated from me.  Just when I need a hug I can't get one.  That is why this site and all you lovely ladies is so important.  Love Suzie

    Good luck with your surgery on monday we will all think of you, A few hurdles out the way and then at least you will have a plan . regards adean xxx
