Results

With great apprehension, I waited in turn for my results impatiently when I remembered what a friend told me about having to wait when the doctor is running late. She said if the doctor was running late it probably meant he must need the time to talk to someone who may have a worst outcome to her. So with this in mind I kept busy playing on my phone and in no time at all it was my turn. My results were very positive! My margins were clear along with the lymph node. The cancer was a grade 2 and 15 mm as shown in the biopsy. Great news. Only waiting on the ER and HER2 test. Dressings changed, wounds look good and go back again in a week to get the other results, stitches out and organise the radiotherapy. It was all a whirl and I think chemo was only mentioned if the ER result is negative. Think we were so excited with the results from the surgery we didn't take much else in. Never mind we can do it all again next week.

That's really positive news, here's hoping that your other results are equally good. Take care, Trace ??????

  • That is great news Catscrapcats.  It is not always easy to take everything in but it all looks very positive.  I am just one day behind you as my surgery was last Thursday.  I go back to my surgeon next week so after nearly 2 weeks hopefully she will have all my results on hand. Good luck with your continued progress and good results next week.
