I'm sorry to read that your results are not as we would have hoped for. However, the good news is that you have many treatment options open to you. Just take a deep breath before you make any decisions and, if you can, ask many questions about the differences between success rates for treatment with lumpectomy versus mastectomy. It's such a personal decision that only you can make - unless you have a strong recommendation from your doctor.
I wish you peace of mind - a tall order at this time but once a decision is made, it will be easier.
