Well my I got my results yesterday and I'm relieved to say I got very good news! I'm over the moon and have been celebrating ever since! :-) Lung tumours have reduced in size and number, no new lesions in bones, and no new growths or spread anywhere in my body that they can detect! Yipee! I'm so relieved! While they classify my disease as "stable" at the moment, despite there being some regression, I'll take that! Stable is fantastic as far as I'm concerned! I just didnt want anything new appearing...that was my wish! As far as my bones go, apparently it's difficult to detect on the scan if any healing has taken place, but that's ok...for now they do know that there is no new 'activity', so that's the main thing! Its taken me a while to realise that this disease is so unpredictable and 'flexible'....one lot of results can be good...the next not so good...the next better. Treatments can remain the same or change to suit any changes that occur. It's all so hard to read at times....but for now I'm just happy to have finally got some good news and be alive! ?

Hi Denice, yes "stable" is wonderful as far as I'm concerned! I was at a critical stage in my treatment, so stable is fantastic! Celeste?

Thanks Amanda, yes I'm very pleased with what they call "stable", despite there being a reduction in my lungs! If I havent regressed then I'm not sure what they classify as "regression"....? any ideas?

I'm so pleased about your results - the unpredictability can be a pain in the butt and at first it is difficult to see stable as good but given the alternative STABLE is good! Anyways - your results are better than stable you've actually had a reduction in your lungs - that is even BETTER!

Thanks Tracey, i?ndeed, stable is good! I have had some regression, but overall they classify me as stable...and I'm soooooo happy with that!

(Ps: I'll let you in on a hot tip about the hearts....try holding your ALT key down and at the same time press the number 3 button on your number pad on the right hand side of your keyboard and you'll get some beautiful hearts! ??????????)
