I suppose I chose the PICC line because to me it seemed less invasive and permanent than the Port but everyone is different. Also having treatment weekly was a factor. I'm only going to need it for another 9 weeks - weekly as when I have herceptin for a further 9 months (3 weekly) I will go back to veins - that's the plan! I'm hoping my veins will hold up especially being every 3 weeks!
