Hi Jane, I was also forced into menopause from chemo (last lot in 2009) and apart from mild hot flushes I've been fine. They still wont confirm whether its permanent or not but seem to think that because I havent had a period in almost 3 years, it is. How did you get confimation that your menopause is permanent? I think it's a wise decision to get the ovaries removed...I know it's another surgery etc..but it seems to be a sensible way to go in this situation. Do you get your eostogen levels monitored? how, via..blood test?
