Yes I saw my oncologist yesterday and she confirmed I'm now in menopause due to the chemo. It didn't put me into menopause when I had treatment in 2002, so I was a bit surprised. Apart from mild hot flushes, I haven't had any noticeable symptoms. We also decided I will have my ovaries out in 3 weeks because we want to make sure the menopause is permanent. After having two highly eostrogen positive primaries 9 years apart, I really need to get the levels down. Anyway, I'm very happy to hear your good news; it put me in a really good mood! Lots of love, Jane.
