I live in Newcastle 2 year waiting list to have it done public. Have an appointment in November in Sydney, she does it in the public system. Waiting time 12 mths maybe less, thats what I have been told. I am in a private fund but can not afford the out of pocket expense.
I am going to have the other breast off and reconstruction at the same time, do not want to keep worrying it may appear in the other breast. I am not sure of what sort of reconstruction, until I speak to Dr.
Really so unfair when you are in a private fund when they charge these out of pocket expenses. Debbie.
