There are so many unknowns involved with breast cancer so it can be very upsetting not knowing if you have made the right decisions. We have to rely on our doctors to give us the best advice and then be satisfied that you have done what was recommended by those who know more than we do.
I am sure you will feel better after the surgery knowing that all the cancer has been removed. Then you can have radiation to make sure that any chance of a stray cell or two are taken care of. Waiting for surgery and treatment is the hardest part and our minds can try to overthink everything.
