Radiotherapy

Hi All. I'm new to this, just registered and think the site is great....so much info and great to hear what other women have experienced. So glad I am still 'normal'.. Thought I may be going a bit mad. Tomorrow I start my radiotherapy. Finished my chemo three weeks ago following lumpectomy and aux clearance in May for a grade 3 BC triple positive. Feeling a bit anxious about radiotherapy but glad at the same time that its here. Don't have anything nice to say about chemo...other than I've finished it! Am also containing with Herceptin for another 11 months. Well..wish me luck. Thankyou all for the really inspirational reading and all the great hints and tips I've been reading. You're all awesome. X Jacqui

  • Hi Jackie, I'm so glad that things went well. I thought radio was much easier than chemo too, just inconvenient. But what part about having cancer IS convenient! I wish you all the best. And you are so right being positive helps a huge amount Daisy

  • Hi Jacqui, Hope all went well with first radio treatment. It sounds as though we are following the same treatment path though I'm ahead of you. I just had Herceptin infusion no 12 last week ( but who's counting)? I hope radiotherapy flies by for you. Good luck!
