Radiotherapy

I had a lumpectomy 3 weeks ago and have an appointment for the Planning Simulation for radiotherapy next week.  All going well I should be finished the 30 treatments a week before Christmas. I would love to have my family, complete with grandchildren, come over the Christmas period but I am not sure that I will be up to it.  I hear and read about fatigue, malaise, blisters and sore skin and would love to hear from others as to whether I should hold the visit off for a few weeks or plan to go ahead as normal.
