Radiotherapy pain

Hi, I have finished my chemo, herceptin, radio and reconstruction. Things were going reasonably ok, and I've always had the tightness across my chest, around to my back and down the arm since finishing my radiotherapy. But the last few months the radio pain is getting much worse!! It's so depilitating and no pain medications seem to help. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if you've found anything that will help.Whilst  i'm very greatful that I'm cured, I'm also getting so depressed about this as it's limiting my quality of life so much. Anyone got any idea's..would be very much appreciated? Thanks Kim

    Thanks jojo. Went to my dr yesterday and he's starting me on Endep for nerve pain to see if that will help and sending me off for an MRI. Hope all goes well with your radio and you don't get too many side effects.xx

    Kim I am sorry to hear you have to go thru this. I am yet to start my radio but I will watch this thread with interest to see how you're doing and any advice the pink ladies can offer you. xx
