Well done, that cream sounds great. I finished by 25 rads on Thursday. ..I was emotional with the relief of 7 months of treatment coming to an end. I haven't been as fortunate as you, I have very fair, sensitive skin & have horrible radiation burns...very painful which I take endone for to help me sleep for the pain.
Yes I was only given the sorbelene & solugel (highly recommend by the my oncologist only) &twice daily dressings which helps to keep the broken skin moist. Before dressings a salt bath on the area to clean & soothe it. I also used moo goo & sorbelene to prepare my skin months before. I hadn't heard of the gel you used either, im so happy it worked for you.
Now I have my miracle cream from my oncologist silver sulfadiazine....a big tub from the hospital dispensary its only used for burn victims & so incredible. . Its only available on prescription, apparently very expensive but in 3 days I can see the broken down skin slowly healing so im feeling a little relieved at last that im on the mend..
