I felt the same as you, but once I joined this net work & read a few stories, I felt I wasn't the only one to feel this way, I didn't join until after my surgery.. I had same surgery as you, I had 2 tumours, stage 1 grade 2 invasive lobula cancer..estrogen & progesterone positive.. I think everyone is different when it comes to treatment some people just fly through them & others struggle big time.. I have fair skin which didn't stand up to well to radiation,I burnt badly & blistered, in the beginning I was using moo goo until Onc told me to stop using it because my skin was so blistered she didn't want infection from the cream, so I just did what they told me, they gave me salt baths every time I had rads & I was to continue these when I got home, about 3 a day & they would also put heaps of Dermeze on with a huge pad & boob tube to hold it in place..very soothing, the breast care nurses were really good to me,they always knew what to do & say to keep me positive, I started to fatigue half way through by the end I was very tired & that lasted for about a month after rads, it took about 2 weeks for my blisters to heal & my skin ended up really dry, so I went back to using the moo goo cream & body wash & my skin is improving...hopefully you will breeze through & don't be to scared to ask for help from your breast care nurses if you need it because they are there to help you through:) good luck with your treatment & wishing you a happy Easter:) take care....
