Flat Nina as I said I didnt know if I would choose to do what I did in 2024 I can now say I would choose to omit radio. Last year September 2025 1 year after my lumpectomy my 1st mammogram showed something near where my tumor was. The report was suspected residual DCIS. I had great margins in 2024 5mm around my small mass. I had calcifications they had good margins 2mm. When I had a stereotactic biopsy in September in 2025. It showed fibrous matter and calcifications. No malignancy. Last Friday I had a follow up mammogram on my left breast. Today I saw my surgeon and im all clear. I must admit I was concerned when I gave you feedback im not any more and I definitely would omit radiotherapy as I did in 2024 in the future. I made the right choice.
