Hi all...just wanted to touch base a little with you...i have had 2 (out of maybe only 10 after all) whole brain radiation treatments..feeling ok. Drifted in & out of sleep a LOT this afternoon. We're just going to see day to day how i am feeling, whether i go and stay in the unit Steve is at. He is heading home (bout 2.5 hrs away) tomorrow and will return with the kids on Friday afternoon (teachers are writing reports on th fri b4 a public holiday apparently!) I have another buddy covering the 'shift change" for wed evening/thurs. So apart from fatigue so far not much to report, only that i hope this stays and doesn't get worse..can't do much but let the rays do their thing and the body rest and recover. Couldn't do any of this without my wonderful family, friends and of course all of you wonderful pals xxx

Hi Sam - thanks for the update. Glad to read that you were able to sleep and fingers crossed that the remainder of the treatment isn't too tough for you. A day at a time hey. Thinking of you and sending you lots of positive thoughts. x

hi fran and all u gorg gals :)

have been having a great couple of days with the family here in melbourne..no treatment so feeling a bit more awake and able to have some fun...not setting any land/speed records but thats ok...oh, and dying for a good piece of steak-thinks thats on the menu for lunch today!!!

did over exploring docklands harbour town and the aquarium yesterday and back down to crown/southbank/skydeck area today-may even be meeting steves sister and man for lunch..kids are loving the trms and exploring, seeing plenty of sights they dont normally get to see and we can pace to my level of 'ability' lol

zapping starts again tomorrow so will be laying low again for the week..will report back here when its done and thinking a bit more clearer again
