Radiation finished - yah :)

 

Today is a great day. Last radiation treatment done & dusted. Yah, Praise God, so good to be finished.
Will have after effects for a while and the hormone therapy drug to take for the next 5-10 years, but all other treatment is finished. I've included a pic of my signing off hand print at the oncology radiation place to signify the end of treatment.

Even though throughout this there has been many trying times and still will be with a focus on getting my body back to a healthy strong place, I am blessed that God has been my rock throughout it all.
I prayed and trusted God through each and every stage and will continue to do so. I kept my sense of humour through most of it, lol, but have definately faced days that were very difficult.

I always felt strong in spirit, but was hard to maintain when my body didn't coincide with my spirit, lol.
Thanks so much to everyone on here that has encouraged and supported me through this time & trial, because that is what is has been a time of trial.

So grateful my 5 kids have been there for me every step of the way, I could not of asked for anything more as well as my family and friends.

My daughter and son drove me to 17 out of my 20 treatments as I was so unwell. It made all the difference.

And to my wonderful mum, who has been on the phone to me most days of the week checking in to see how I was, the love and support from her and my stepdad has been amazing.

Thanks to everyone for unconditional love, support & prayers.
It is time to now get off this roller coaster and get strong again so I can move forward into my life and what ever God has in store for me. 

I will continue to check in here often and keep you all in my prayers. Love to all xxx
