Radiation Burns
Hello lovelies...ugh and I thought radiation was going to be easy, compared to chemo!! How wrong was I. Have burns in the typical areas I was told about, neck, nipple and under boob. I noticed bleeding on the under boob. Is this normal anything to be concerned about? Thank you xx

- I was pretty burnt my scars broke down around nipple and under arm was in agony for weeks but the concellation is it healed quickly hope yours heals quickly as well xx

Nurse said sorbelene but haven’t got any tonight. Can I use pawpaw or aloe?

- Hi, this all sounds very nasty! I am only into 11 of 28 RTs and my skin is still in tact. When did your skin start to crack?
- @jennyss yes heaps better...no more bandages with the undies @DearB mentioned lol just using cream now...broken skin has healed..but have noticed boobie has shrunk heaps..happy new year to you too xx

Best wishes for 2018 from jennyss - Om my last day of treatment the nurse dressed my worst bits , cut some disposable undies with a few quick snips and told me to wear that as a bra. Wtf. I got to my car and cried and cried she gave me extras too for the next few weeks and while they were obviously practical they are never going to be the next big seller for nice Underwear. My nurse daughter laughed and laughed when I got home with the undies on as a bra. My nipple only stopped looking crusty in the last week or so and is super sensitive. And the under burn is still a lovely tanned shade of blah.
and that was with the nurse constantly saying how good it looked. - @SoldierCrab @Joannie I started with solugel and they’ve now given me dermez ointment. I see rad nurse every day after radiation. Tonight though I did apply solugel first and put dermez on the gauze and applied it over the solugel and then bandage...and where my bra to keep it in place...can’t stand sleeping with bra on
