Radiating

Hi Ladies...here's hoping that all your journeys are going well for you....I am in the middle of radiation half way mark Yay & can't wait for this part to be over with all is well apart from I have really bad irritation, very burnt boob & lots of nasty little blisters..:( I have been told by onco to stop with the moo goo & stick to the salt baths... Going insane with the itching, just want to throw myself into the freezer lol...I thought radiation was a walk in the park & I finally got my app at king Edward for a Hysterscopy on the 11th march so anyway must find ways to keep my mind occupied through this crappy waiting game...big(((hugs))) to you all Christine:) x

  • Hi I am half way through my chemo then 6 weeks of radiation. Not looking forward to it at all. I wonder now if I should had received chemo after I read so many people only having radiation. When I have had same procedurers and same meds. I too am worried about the 5yrs of taking tamoxifen.I guess we all have to stay positive. Thanks it is nice to here how others feel and cope.xx Leonie

  • It's good to be at the halfway mark isn't it..I hope chemo is not giving you too many problems, Sometimes I just don't know what to say on here because so many of you are going through chemo, I didn't do that part.... I can say we are all in the same boat together fighting BC with different treatments & it's a boat that I thought I would never end up in...((hugs))Christine:) x
  • I am halfway through my chemo and I will be doing 6 weeks of radiation after that, sorry to hear you are struggling a bit. I have been told it is a walk in the park after chemo, but I guess it comes with it's own issues. Hope it passes quickly for you and yeah, the waiting game is the worst. Big hugs back to you, all the best,

    Hazel xx
