Public vs South Africa

Hi there. I am going through the public system. I have had surgery, chemo and herceptin through box hill hospital. I did pay $400 out of pocket expenses to have radiotherapy done at ring wood private, but that was because it was more convenient for me. I cannot fault the care I have received. I have had 3 unscheduled stays in hospital as well due to side effects. I have not had to wait for more than a week or two for things to be done. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend going publicly.
