Pregnancy after Chemo

Today I had 5 eggs taken out of me for frozen storage so hopefully in the future I can have a little one :)

I am 30 and a?t the end of June I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was discussed with my surgeon to have a double masectomy ( I may have gene due to family hx) but my ocologist wanted to do chemo first. I then got rushed to start fertility treatment. The doctor there has been wonderful. I would reccomend seeing a fertility specilist. You will have the best chance of finding out if you can fall pregnant then. They can do a hormone test to find out where you are with how many eggs you have left. Also if you havent gone through menopause I imagine you should still have eggs hopefully. I would reccomed being really healthy with eating and exercise so your body can develop the perfect environment for you baby. The body knows when not to reproduce when the outcome isnt going to be good. Good luck
