Post surgery

Hi all....well here am I on the other side of surgery and on the road to recovery! Well, that's the first step over with and am holding my breath for the path. I can't speak highly enough of Dr Farah Abdulaziz, theatre staff, anaesthetist and the nursing staff at the Mount. A big THANK YOU to them all and to my supportive members in this group. The level of caring here is great. Even though you are fighting your own battles you still take time to wish me well. I now am returning the favour to all of you out there on your personal journeys...take care, live well, love hard and best wishes and hugs from me.

    Hi Jen Well done! Your positivity has helped you through the first step and I'm sure you will find the next steps manageable too. I have booked my return trip to Melbourne on Tuesday to receive my 2nd round of AC chemo. Not worried about it this time as I managed quite well on my first round. Stay positive, keep us posted.     You did it!You are through the first step,and whatever the next step is,you will get through that too:) Isn't this online network the most wonderful place to connect with others?I think because you can come on here ANY TiME of the day,and there is always someone ready to give their support and understands exactly how you are feeling.Take things one day at a time and make sure you stay in touch and let us know what's next.CheersxoxRobyn
