Post Op Surgeon Consult

I am off to see my surgeon today following my mastectomy.  Even though I have the results of my CT and Bone Scans which thankfully both came back clear, I still feel incredibly anxious.

I keep telling myself that yes, I may need chemo and radiation and other treatments and that this visit can't possibly be as bad as my first consult with him.

Trying to keep busy but I can't help thinking I wish I was just going to work and not having this scheduled into my day.

    Joy,I know EXACTLY how you are feeling.The one thing that I would say though,is,after today,you will feel a lot less anxious,because you will now have your plan for treatment.You can then start to organise things that may need changing like work etc.Keep busy all morning until your appointment,and before you know it you will be leaving the docs and on your way home !
