Post-op high

I have had my operation and now officially weigh 520g less than I did just yesterday - yes that's how much my right breast weighed!

Although I was absolutely terrified right until they knocked me out with the anesthetic I feel really great now - it probably just goes to show that no reality ever ends up being as bad as we imagine.

I mean I am already eating and walking around just like normal (well not exactly but well on my way) and I am only taking Panadiene (two tablets every four hours) for pain relief.

I only wish the hospital would give me more food. They have put me on a light diet and I am starving - I keep wanting to tell them 'I'm a breast cancer patient, not a gastric band one'.
