Post-Mastectomy update
Well, with the mastectomy behind me & chemo just around the corner, it’s time to post an update of how my journey’s panning out ~ I’ve been a bit slack in maintaining this blog (have missed you all!)...

thanx so much Lizzy, for all the positive feedback! I so look forward to your messages & feel I have a kindred spirit in many things breast related:) Was really interested to note that your newest pair have a more realistic shape than the saline pockets, as mine still fill out a little too much under the arm, altho I'm guessing there's still a bit of swelling. Good to read on your other post regarding how much "easier" having part2 op (compared to mastect/ reconstruction), so I have that to look forward to! Probably won't happen 'til early 2012, after chemo's over. Anyway, 1 down, 5 to go :) Feeling very foggy & heavy & bloated after yesterday; there appears to be tablets for everything I am, or possibly will be feeling in the short term. And often there's more than one tab! Whatever.
Anyway, good on you for heading back to work on Thursday! I'm guessing it'll be great to return to some sourt of routine. Just take it easy (not too many coffee cups).
