Yes it is public hospital and I have asked for the surgeons contact details but they just say ring the hospital general number.
I was also told by the hospital if anything goes wrong with my drains or I get an infection, go to the emergency section. I don't know if I would have the stamina to sit there for hours waiting to be seen if anything like that happened.
I know the McGrath breast nurse has his email so hopefully she can figure out what's going on.
