I would feel abandoned too if i were in your shoes. I thought trainee nurses and doctors are supervised. Can you stipulate that you want to see your surgeon snd ask for his direct contact details. I had my rads at peter mac and sometimes saw other doctors other than my own but they were on the same team. i think they told me I could stipulate an appointment with my doctor if i wanted sometimes the wait was greater.
Its your health if you dont feel like you are being cared for effectively you need to speak up.
