Post Chemo side effects

I had my last weekly Taxol three weeks ago. And surgery about seven months ago. I really expected that once I finished chemo, I would feel great but instead, some of my side effects have gotten worse! In particular, this rash that gradually got worse over the 12 week course of Taxol. The rash is now behind my knees, inside of elbows, inside thighs and lower back. It is insanely itchy; not all of the time but many times every day and night. I went out for dinner last night and had to excuse myself to go to the bathroom just so I could have a scratch frenzy and it is disturbing my sleep at night. It seems to be getting worse instead of better. Has anyone else had the same experience? How much longer do I have to put up with this? Any remedies? Also, 7 months after surgery I now have severe chording down my arm (I can't straighten it) and lymphodema! What the? And I expected that the 15 kilos I put on during chemo would start to drop off now but instead I have gained another kilo! I just have to have a bit of a whinge because I never complained during treatment; always keeping positive and looking forward to the end. Nobody told me that things don't just go back to normal straight away? Oh, and yes my hair is growing back, but it is grey and fuzzy! Arhhhhh!
