post -op

Good afternoon ladies,

Well here I am at home again. I had the mastectomy of my right breast on Wednesday and all seems okay.

Results of lymph node thingy will be known on Thursday, so I am hoping all will be well with that.

Seems a bit weird to look at where I used to have a breast and now there is nothing but I imagine that one gets used to it - well I hope one does any way.  

Had a bit of a laugh in hospital before I left. I had a visit from an occupational therapist - so I offered him a bit of my bed for a seat. He very politely said no and it was such an inviting offer too as I sat there with no hair, minus my partial denture and minus a breast - not sure how he could have refused me really!!!

Haing met 4 really terrific women in hospital I deinitely believe that as a race, We WOMEN ROCK!!
