go for it!!..was a simple procedure to insert, then i don't have to worry about them finding a vein every 3 weeks...i have just completed 12 months of hercepting (along with 8 doses of chemo initially too)..and am in for the long haul...secondary cancer means ongoing treatment...all is going well and the port makes everything much simpler for the girls at the chemo unit and they take bloods thru the port whenever necessary too...great!! especially if u have had nodes removed and 1 arm is compromised...happy to talk further if u wish..good luck :)
