Port Removal
Feeling a bit anxious now. I have my gown on and they're about to come and get me to take me to theatre to get the port out. See you on the other side!
So glad to have it out! In at hospital at 7am, procedure at 8:30am, discharged at 9:20am. Chatted with the surgeon about music and records while he was taking it out (just sold all my vinyl this week and the doc is the same vintage as me). And the timing is perfect - can't go in the water for 2 weeks which will take me up to the day we get down to the beach! Resting today then off to see Ladies in Black with a bestie tonight to thank her for all the help she has given me this year.
