Port Removal Before Radiation
I was at my exercise class today and heard that one of the other women who usually attends had her port taken out after being measured up for radiation and has had to go through the measuring process ...
Really? I didn't have radiation but nothing looked different after my port was removed. But I guess it depends on the position /location of the port and original position of cancer and area being targeted. The removal was quick and swift and so was the healing and minimal pain.
