Hi breastfriend, to make your 'my story' information public, just click on the 'edit profile' link under your profile picture on the left side of the page.
At the top of the 'edit' page you'll see a blue box that explains how to change your privacy settings. If you want some more info, there's a post about privacy settings here: http://www.bcna.org.au/network/groups/54/blog/4433.
