Hi everyone,
I have not posted for a very long time, just wanted to let you all know that after having my mastecomy in 2010 with a agressvie phyllodes all was good for me, even had tram flap surgery done and reduction to my right breast in 2012 lilfe was was good till dec 2013 I felt a lump on my right breast and thought oh no not again, I honestly thought it was a phyllodes once again and got myself to the dr and went through all the proticol again.
Got my pathology results back and it was stage 2 infiltrating carcinoma, yep not only did I have a sarcoma I also had a carsinoma which is the 80% of breast cancer woman get.
I was told its not related to the phylodes and its treated separately I have done genetic testing and I find out in 6 -8 weeks if genetic.
Im currently having chemo and its knocked me arround.
Just want woman to be vigilant with their breasts, always check them, having said that prior to my diagnosis on my phyllodes in 2010, 3 years prior to that I was diagnosed with haematoma benign and I left it for 3 years till it was malignant and to get clear margins I had to have a mastectomy.
I feel cause they dont know much about them and they are so unpredictable they all should be removed no matter what stage they are at.
Giving you all love and strength, look after number one ... You
