Phyllodes Tumor - Anyone else out there?

Hello again all. Well I know its been a while since my last post and visit but you have all been in my thoughts. Some of you may remember my story but ill just recap briefly, I was first diagnosed with low grade phyllodes in 2009 had recurrence in 2011 and have had a total of five surgeries now my last one was September last year. Earlier this year I found another lump and went to see my surgeon in march, after an ultrasound and core biopsy my pathology report has come back as malignant pt. I am booked in for skin sparing mastectomy (they will be removing my nipple and all tissue) for next Thursday the 24th. Im a little worried but am actually handling it better than I expected, im very positive about it all and am just spending my time concentrating on my son. He's only three and a half and we haven't spent more than two nights apart since he was born so I worry about how he will cope while im in hospital. Im wondering if anyone on here has had a reconstruction done after mastectomy? Does medicare cover any costs? I have been advised to wait as I have been told I will be having radiation therapy after I recover from mastectomy. ...
