Hi Tezzie,
Welcome to the group andvery sorry to hear about your sister in law. If there is anything you would like to ask please feel free to post it on this blog, as a private message or in the phyllodes support group and hopefully someone will be able to answer you. Hoping your sister inlaw got some good news on Thursday.
Hi to all my Phyllodes friends - Thought I would just post a quick update as it has been a little while and I just wanted to also let you all know that I have made it to the 2 year mark since being informed of my diagnosis on 9th November 2010. :) I have my annual checkup with the plastic surgeon coming up and I am hoping that all is still OK with the reconstruction and we won't be needing any revision surgery yet - I am not ready for any more surgery at this stage - not sure I will ever be ready.
I am feeling well - I have been going to the gym 3 to 4 times a week and I swim at least once a week. I have found that exercise is the best way for me to control my anxiety and reduces my stress.
I had my 10 year wedding anniversary on 2nd November and we went camping at the Sunshine Coast with the kids to celebrate for the weekend. It was also my youngest daughters 5th Birthday the day before.
I am hoping that everyone is travelling along well and would love to hear how you are all doing. Lydia I have been thinking of you and I am hoping that you are OK.
Until the next update. Cheers Katie.
